pokey, pokey... treat, treat...

Meowy friends, Nahum's here. my humans call me, Mr. Fluffs - whatever. I wanna tell you about lil adventures I go on. twavels, endless treats, pokey, pokey, and then back in time!

I'm getting old, you know. My human tells me 16, whatever that means. He never gives me 16 treats... Me had lower back pain for long time now, it getting worse. A time ago, fancy human at vet place took pictures of my innards (without consent!) and said I have ar-rith-is. Not sure what that is, but know it doesn't result in more treats. Said possible neuropathy too, whatever.

Next thing, me stuffed in bag and zoom to different vet place.

Human always weird. I trust my human though. He said treats in it for me.

I get to a room and explores, like I do.

All the smells. Gotta make sure they clean proper, not eating no treats off nasty floor!

Ok, all looks good.

Next thing I knows, two humans come through. One, the human calls, vet, does all the poking and prodding around my fluffs. No consent - humans.

I hear something about a treat jar. And meowy friends, da biggest jar of fishy treats like ever!

I can have as many as I want!! Wowza!

Gobble down treats, feel pokey, pokey, pokey... Whatever, treats...

Then two humans go, just my human. I got like a zillion pokey needle things in me! Yikes!!? Whaty humans doin to me??! Fuffly pin cushy...

I'm feeling stuff...  Not ouchy... Not pains... Some energzzz, I meows all about it, so everyon can hear. Me like this feeling. And more treats!

After bit, two humans come and take out the pokeys and give more treats!

Den go homes. Me wish Theo was there, cuz, wanted to meow him all about it, but know he know already. He with me. miss him so much.

Friendz, me feel so much better! Me move like young again. My human said it was the pokey things, but I know it was all those magic treats in the big jar. Treats from vet place, gotta be healthy. Need more treats!

Let me tell you more thing... Before left that weird place, told them all about Ms. Lucy, and she need to visit them to get pokey treatment. I told them she don't eat treats! Ha! Yowl! Then human says she will go there too! It worked! Teach her for smacking me, stupid tortietude.

Anyways, haven't felt this good in years. go back in another time for more. Yah!

fly free Theo

Theo crossed the rainbow bridge this afternoon. Nahum was with him the entire time offering him love and licks.

This last 24-hrs was really hard, Theo looked very uncomfortable. As much as my heart hurts for his lack of physical presence, I'm glad he's not suffering.

It's hard to imagine life without Theo. So much love, joy, and personality in a furry kitty package.

Fly free my Theo friend. I will always love you, forever and ever.

Theo update

Theo is still with us, although his health is declining. His congestive heart failure is worsening and there is nothing more we can do. His kidneys are taking a beating from the high dose of Torsemide diareutic.

Every day with Theo feels like a huge gift. He's the sweetest boy. Sadly, I fear this might be our last few days with him.

Theo Theo

Theo's health seems to be holding steady. At the start of this month, he seemed to be going downhill. After the vet drained a bunch of fluid around his lungs, we made some medication adjustments and added a few more meds and supplements. Since then, he's been doing well.

I'm so grateful for all this extra time with him. Such a lovely gift. Theo's such a delightful cat, so filled with gentleness and love. He's been exceptionally cuddly lately.

Theo weekend roundup

I got lots of amazing Theo cuddles this weekend. Spending time and cuddling with him was the priority activity this weekend. He was super cuddly.

He even had energy and interest to supervise the preparation of the week's kitty meds.

Theo had a really good weekend! Yah!

He seemed to be feeling really good. Had more energy and looked more comfortable.

It's been a long time since I've seen him in this kitchen window. This was one of his favorite hang out places.

On Thursday, we thought we would be saying goodbye to Theo this weekend. But instead, we got a lovely gift of spending a lot of quality time with him while he was feeling better! Yah!! His breathing has been better and has been consistently okay.

I'm praying for more good days for him.
