the sun returns

We almost made it through a year with no snow. Then Friday came.

 Late afternoon:

In the end we had only a few inches of snow and most of it was melted by evening.

    no sun here....but at least we didn't get the 5 inches of snow they were predicting

    At least it didn't stick around long for you., We're still waiting for the thaw to start as there is a foot of snow still on the ground.

    The cats have been snoozing in sun puddles all day..now the fire is lit and a couple of them have found prime positions.
    Still much snow on the ground here *sigh*

    You super lucky kitties…only one sow this year and such quick melting. That's the kind of winter we like. Snow is melting from our snow of two days ago, which was way more than one too many.
