Thank you everyone for your kind, supportive comments. I greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers for MK. I'm trying to hold onto hope that maybe he's locked in someone's garage and they are away on vacation for the week. Meanwhile, I keep looking out the window for him but all I see is Pierre by himself, looking rather lonely.
Oliver was hanging around the yard all day Wednesday, looking very picturesque.
Oliver LOVES to roll around in the gravel.
When he gets up he looks more like a gray cat than a black cat!
We still have our paws crossed and purr motors revved up for MK's return. Whatever happens, he's been so blessed to have you for a caretaker. (((Hugs)))
ReplyDeletewe hope MK is alright and finds his way back.... that Oliver is a cutie :)
ReplyDeleteWe will still hope and purray that MK finds his way home.
ReplyDeleteI suggest walking the neighborhood at night, armed with cat food, and a carrier bag. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteStill purring for MK. Meanwhile, Oliver is doing his best to cheer you up.
ReplyDeleteWe so hope that MK comes home.
ReplyDeleteThis happened to one of my strays a few years ago. She simply vanished. After a few days I sent word through my neighborhood listserv to be on the lookout--nothing. Then after a week I put out signs like yours but on the sight I asked everyone to please open their sheds and garages. Within 12 hours of putting up the signs, Jelly returned, starving, but none the worse for wear . Praying that this happens with MK
ReplyDeleteHi, Thank you so much for the idea. We don't have a listserv for the neighborhood, but I decided to try old school and printed some flyers and walked around and knocked on doors asking people to look in their sheds and garages. Hope it works for me and MK!
DeleteBig hopeful purrs from all of us here for MK...it's so hard, not knowing.
ReplyDeletewe are purring and praying with all of our might!
ReplyDeleteOh you are so welcome! One other thing -- If you have't already asked, ask neighbors to open sheds and garages for a while (an hour at least?). I know that's a lot to ask of them but even a starving kitty might be afraid to run out if strangers are at the open door...
ReplyDeleteSuwe hope MK is okay. Gajus fotos.
ReplyDeleteLuv ya'
