When the dryer stopped working the drying rack came out and was placed in front of the fire. The cats loved that! This is one of the things I absolutely love about cats, their sense of creative play. A dog would have sniffed the rack and gone on it's way whereas the cats view it as a new cat toy!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get pictures of their interactive play, they moved so fast and the camera wanted to focus on the stationary rack not the moving cats! Often Nahum would be on the floor reaching up and pawing at Theo as if trying to knock him off. Other games included chase through the middle of the rack! Willow loved lounging on the rack in the sun! Rose didn't spend as much time on the rack as the others but she participate.
Mom has one of those, but she shuts it in the bedroom cause she said something about us not being allowed to pull the clothes off. (whatever) She does have a picture (somewhere) of one foster kitten who was playing on it the one occasion they got into the bedroom. He balanced for a while and then took a nap across the top bars.
