Christmas preparations

Having a full size Christmas tree and five energetic cats is quite the challenge. Even though we decorated it as we wanted it sometime last week, each cat continues to make their own adjustments.

Over the weekend Theo toppled the tree as he was climbing it. I can't believe that has only happened once so far!

Each kitty gets their own stocking.

Willow, grazing on the Douglas Fir.

Theo, adjusting the lights.

Willow, checking out the angel ornament.

Nahum, adjusting the string of red beads.

Willow, decapitating the angel.

  1. The tree is gorgeous, just gorgeous. Terrific job, everyone!

The mom wants to know if it's anchored to anything. (Ours is, even though we've really not disturbed it this year.)

  3. but how are the kitties supposed to get to their stockings to check inside to see if the elves stopped by early and dropped off goodies?? I mean they are making the tree so beautiful, how could Santa not send them extra little gifties :) (at least that is what The Crew keeps telling me)

  7. Lovely tree! Sadly, we're unable to put one up this year, for fear that certain of the creatures will actually do themselves an injury with it.

  11. OH! You have made me smile. I so wish I could have such a sight at my home. It's too soon to have another baby after my Admiral but perhaps she will lead one to me. Thank you for coming to see us.
