homes

The kittens have been spending a lot of time outside their cages lately. It's hard to get good pictures of them because they are always running! It takes about 3 hours of running around before they finally crash.

Belle and Ranger (could be Rori)

They love turning the cat tree into a kitten tree!

Doc

Ranger and Belle go to their new homes today. They're both super sweet and I'll miss them.

Ranger

These feral born kittens were found huddled up, shivering on a woodpile, but that was not to be their destiny - they will forever be spoiled inside kitties! Please join me in wishing them well in their new lives. Each are going into homes with existing kitties, so no chance of them being bored! Hopefully they don't drive their new kitty pals nuts with their non-stop desire to play.

Now to find homes for Doc, Rori, Felix and Diva...

  1. They are all so cute. Hope they all find homes soon. I would have trouble being a Foster Mom, I want to keep them all....Charlie says no, get those kids away from me! LOL!

  2. Hurrah for Ranger and Belle! Fingers and paws crossed for the rest of the gang. :-)

BTW, I've used Feliway a number of times, for some months at a stretch, but can't say I've had success with it. I can't say it *hasn't* made a difference, but I don't think much of one. Connie did a post (last year?) about it, and it was an eye-opener as to what it can and can't do (versus the perception many of us have from how it's marketed, etc).

  4. good luck kitts!!! we are glad you are heading into your forever homes!

BTW - running kittens is the reason mom says most of our foster pictures feature SLEEPING kittens :)

  5. You cannot keep them all. Eventually you would be buried in fur. It is good to know they had no safe pleasant life ahead, until they were captured, and now they will have good long lives in a warm home.

  12. Happy news about the new warm loving homes. May the other babies also find those. I am like another commenter...I couldn't foster. It would tear my heart out to lose them and you can't keep them all...I'd miss them and find it hard to give them up. You can love too much (me) so best not to go there. :-)

  14. OMG, these kittens are beautiful. I agree with you, I think it would be very hard giving them up to new homes, but also to separate them from their siblings. I think it will work out OK for all of them in the long run. Just a difficult goodbye. They are so gorgeous. All of them.
