blooming Rose

There I was, sitting on the couch with my Nahum parked next to me, innocently catching up on blogs.

Up jumped Rose - she parked herself right in Nahum's fluff, her way of asking for cuddles.

Of course Nahum obliged, he can't seem to say no to her.

Then the most bizarre thing happened. She stood in my lap and I petted her.

It was like she forgot she was afraid of humans.

She stood there for pets and soaked them in. Is this Rose?!

She loved it! I loved it!

Then she needed some more Nahum cuddles.

Wow!

What a week!

  6. Sounds s if Nahum, by his closeness, gave Rose the confidence she needed to ask for and get some loving. Hope this is the start of something new for her. 10. I was sitting watching TV the other day when a cat climbed up on me for patting. I was patting it before I realized it was Eli, the kitty who spent years running from us due to being medicated as a kitten.. so I can totally appreciate the beauty and wonder of this post

  14. It's so special when the Shy Ones come out & say hello!

Been over at Wikiepdia 'feral cat' page lately? Appears to be written from a Bird Lover's strong point of view. Wiki is open source, I'd encourage folks look&edit.
